As part of our Establish Her initiative, the Royal Iwere Foundation, in collaboration with CHEEZ CAKES, proudly hosted a transformative two-day cake masterclass for 96 women from the Warri Kingdom. This masterclass represents our unwavering commitment to equipping local women with skills for economic independence and growth.
During the first day, participants delved into both theoretical foundations and practical techniques essential to the cake industry, gaining skills that set them apart in a competitive market. In recognition of outstanding commitment, a distinguished participant was awarded a complimentary advanced three-day baking course with the esteemed Jozzy Cakes, valued at ₦150,000.
On the second day, participants expanded their skills and explored further opportunities through capacity-building sessions. Additional prizes included a one-month beginner baking course with Zion Cakes for one participant, while twenty-four others secured access to an online baking class led by Miracle David Benard of Lush Batter by Dee Bayelsa. This impactful programme embodies the Foundation’s mission to foster economic advancement within the Warri Kingdom by unlocking the potential of women through hands-on skills development.
The Establish Her 2.0 Cake Masterclass underscores our dedication to economic empowerment—one skill at a time—ensuring a brighter future for Warri’s women and their communities.
