In commemoration of the 2025 Valentine’s Day, the Olori Atuwase III’s Love Garden initiative promoted sustainable practices and community well-being through her Green Love Story—Gardentime, to the women of Ugbuwangwe and Ajamimogha communities of Warri South LGA on Friday, 14 February 2025. Families received food crop seedlings to start backyard gardens, encouraging healthier lifestyles through homegrown produce and potential income generation.
Radiating with excitement, the women of the Ugbuwangwe and Ajamimogha communities warmly welcomed their Olori, Her royal Majesty, Olori Atuwatse III. Inspiring the women to nurture the seeds into flourishing crops, Her Majesty stated; “Love is about ensuring the safety and well-being of those you care for. These seeds are a step towards fostering healthy living, provide nourishing sustenance for families and strengthen homes. This effort not only encourages a healthier lifestyle through nutritious homegrown produce but also paves the way for families to eventually commercialise their harvest.”
