Theme: Equipping and empowering early childhood educators. The Royal Iwere Foundation (RIF) is the flagship project of Ogiame and Olori Atuwase III, conceptualized in 2021 to support the development of vulnerable indigenes in underserved communities through educational and socio-economic empowerment.
The teacher’s training is one of the programs under the foundation, and it aims to equip and empower early childhood educators. It is expected to provide participants with blended learning techniques for effective and efficient teaching, including modern teaching methods for improved classroom delivery. The Ogiame and Olori Atuwase III have always believed that Early Childhood Education is the foundation for all learning.
The teacher’s training program was a three-day program dated: Friday, 27th October to Saturday, 29th October 2022. we had teachers invited from various primary schools in the Warri South local government area and beyond. We also had speakers from Lagos come to speak, train and spend quality time with the teachers. Mrs. Nana was present as a representative of the commissioner of primary education Delta State, Honourable Onoriode Sunday. Certificates of participation were presented to all 35 trainees for the training program.
