Olori Atuwatse III Love Gardens
Growing Seeds of Sustainability and Leadership
Overview
Olori Atuwatse III's Love Gardens is a cornerstone initiative of the Royal Iwere Foundation, created to nurture growth, unity, and hope for a greener tomorrow. More than a green space, the gardens are sanctuaries of learning where children are taught to grow their own food, embrace environmental stewardship, and cultivate entrepreneurial and leadership skills from an early age.
Our Mission & Impact
By working the soil together, students learn values of responsibility, teamwork, and self-belief that reflect the spirit of collective progress. The Love Gardens go beyond farming to address global challenges such as food insecurity, with the FAO estimating that 735 million people face undernourishment worldwide. By promoting organic farming and sustainable practices, the Love Gardens empower young minds while strengthening community resilience.
Transforming Lives Through Agriculture
Across 43 communities, we've engaged 3,704 children and 8,911 women in sustainable farming practices, harvesting over 22,520kg of fresh produce. In every seed planted lies a lesson in patience, perseverance, and purpose.
