STEM & Innovation Lab
Empowering Future Scientists, Engineers, and Innovators
Overview
Under the leadership of the Warri Kingdom Monarchy, the Royal Iwere Foundation is pioneering access to STEM education through the establishment of the Captain Dr Idahosa Wells Okunbo STEM and Innovation Lab and the dynamic STEM Hub Boot Camps. These initiatives are milestones in our mission to advance quality education, equipping children with the skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
Impact & Reach
So far, the programme has reached children across six communities within Warri Kingdom, impacting lives through education that bridges socio-economic divides. Rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 4, 5, and 10), this initiative embodies inclusivity, opportunity, and progress, giving children not just knowledge but the confidence to shape their futures.

Our Vision
The Royal Iwere Foundation's STEM programmes stand as a beacon of empowerment, nurturing a new generation of innovators who will transform the Warri Kingdom, the Niger Delta, and beyond. We are committed to making quality STEM education accessible to every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, and empowering them to become the change-makers and problem-solvers our world needs.
Our STEM Lab
The STEM Lab provides underserved children in Warri with hands-on learning in coding, robotics, electronics, Arduino programming, and 3D prototyping. By fostering creativity, critical thinking, and innovation, the Lab inspires curiosity and builds resilience, preparing the next generation of leaders in science and technology.
